Ron Schwartz
Ron serves in a corporate role where he oversees PatientCare’s centralized efforts supporting all operations including School of EMS, Fleet Plus, Compliance and Safety, SSD/Communications and acquisitions.
Ron’s career began in 1983 when he earned his EMT license while attending the University of South Dakota in Vermillion. To further his career, he moved to Michigan to attend paramedic school and began working as a paramedic. He has worked his entire career in all exclusive 911 high performance EMS systems and filled roles as an educator, EMD dispatcher, director of communications, director of operations and finally working his way up to top management positions. Ron served in top management positions in EMS systems in Reno, NV, Cheyenne, WY, Lincoln, NE and finally ending up in Tyler, TX where he managed a large rural EMS exclusive 911 system for the East Texas Medical Center. In 2011, Ron became the president of Paramedics Plus, LLC which held exclusive 911 EMS contracts in Ok, FL, IN, CA and SD until sold in 2018 at which time he transitioned with the new company to become President of PatientCare EMS.
He holds a degree in EMS management from Davenport University in Michigan and previously held certifications as a fire fighter, EMD dispatcher and NR paramedic.
